Who we are

The Blink Agency is a digital marketing agency based in Athens, Greece, operating as THE BLINK MON. IKE. We provide advertising, analytics, search optimisation and web development services to our clients.

This policy explains what information we handle, why, and what we do not do with it. It covers both our website at https://theblink.gr and the internal applications we operate to manage our clients’ marketing accounts.

Contact for any privacy question: blinkdigitalagency@gmail.com

Information we handle

From visitors to theblink.gr Standard analytics data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. If you submit a contact form, we receive the name, email address, telephone number and message you choose to give us.

From our internal applications We operate internal tools that connect to advertising and analytics platforms on behalf of clients who have authorised us to manage their accounts. Through these tools we access:

  • Google Analytics reporting data — traffic, engagement and conversion metrics
  • Google Search Console data — search queries, impressions, clicks and indexing status
  • Google Ads data — campaign structure, performance and conversion measurement
  • Google Tag Manager configuration — tracking tags and triggers

This access is granted by the account owner and can be withdrawn by them at any time.

How we use Google user data

Our internal applications request access to Google APIs solely to deliver the marketing services our clients have engaged us for: producing performance reports, diagnosing measurement problems, and configuring tracking correctly.

Access is read-only wherever the work allows it. Data is retrieved when a specific task requires it and is not copied into a separate database or retained beyond what that task needs.

Limited Use disclosure

The Blink Agency’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, we do not:

  • sell Google user data to any party
  • transfer Google user data except as necessary to provide or improve the agreed services, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition
  • use Google user data for advertising purposes, including retargeting or personalised advertising
  • allow any person to read Google user data, except where the account owner has given explicit consent, where it is necessary for security purposes or to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised

Legal basis

Where GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of:

  • Contract — data processed to deliver services our clients have engaged us for
  • Legitimate interest — website analytics that help us understand and improve our own site
  • Consent — non-essential cookies, and any use you specifically agree to

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:

  • the platform providers whose services we operate on our clients’ behalf (Google, Meta and similar), under their own terms
  • service providers who host our infrastructure, bound by confidentiality obligations
  • authorities, where the law requires it

Retention

Website enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the relationship. Data accessed through platform APIs is not retained separately by us; it remains with the platform under the account owner’s control.

Your rights

Under GDPR you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of anything inaccurate, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or you may object to processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time.

Write to blinkdigitalagency@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

Cookies

Our website uses cookies for functionality and analytics. You control these through the consent banner shown on your first visit, and can change your choices at any time. See our Cookie Policy for detail.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections and credential isolation so that access to each client’s data is separated from every other client’s. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.

International transfers

Some providers we rely on operate outside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred, it is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change, and revise the date at the top. Material changes affecting our clients will be communicated directly.
